JohnWelcome to Raising Vibrations Radio with your host Reverend Raven. Today at 8:30 PM EDT  we mirthfully present International Author and Lecturer John Norseman. John has written the book “Journey of A Shaman, -Life the Journey – Spirit the Destination” which was published by a division of  Hay House Publishing. After a traumatic and emotionally abusive childhood, John went on to become CEO of four major companies. In doing so, he not only gained the respect of others, but also rebuilt  both his self-esteem and self- confidence. In 2007 he acknowledged he was a practical intuitive and decided to change his life, leave the corporate high rises, and acknowledge his destiny by both realizing his spirituality, and finally becoming a practicing shaman, providing spiritual healing, guidance and teaching. In John’s journey through life, he learnt the following and more:- how to say NO and mean it, close one door before opening another, turn weaknesses into strengths, facing one’s fears head on, forgiveness, the power of love, and that one can achieve anything one wants to be removing the blocks in one’s own mind. John was channeled by Spirit to write his autobiography in order to help others on their respective journeys through life. It took 5 years to complete and it was published by Balboa Press, a Division of Hay House, in June 2015. John has had a long life, born 01/01/1941 in war torn London, Britain. There are many messages in the book, for people of all ages, that give practical advice and inspiration on the path to self-actualization.

‘’The messages include:

  • How to change one’s life to be what one would like it to be
  • How to overcome the effects of being abused, mentally or physically
  • How to say NO and mean it, putting out the vibration that frees oneself from unwanted control by others
  • How to close one door before opening another
  • How to turn weaknesses into strengths
  • Facing one’s fears head on
  • Forgiveness, (forgive, bless, thank, send love from the heart)
  • Follow your heart instead of your head
  • Go with the flow: (Don’t push on a closed door, don’t swim against the tide, if the flow is against you then listen to your intuition and change course)
  • How to achieve anything you want by removing the blocks in one’s own mind
  • The power of love

The book, Journey of a Shaman, -Life the Journey – Spirit the Destination, ends with John’s  definition of love that he learned to put into practice:

Love is like a precious flower, it needs to be nurtured and refreshed every day,

A touch, a look, a romantic gesture from the heart, always putting the other first,

Never taking the other for granted.

Wanting to give to the other joy every day.

Enable the other to reach their full potential.

Always the truth, never a lie.

Solid foundations of friendship, mutual trust and mutual respect.

Knowing that passion is the signature of the soul.

Making the most of every day-living life as if every day was our last.

Some would say it’s an idealistic statement, but we discovered it is possible to live it. It does not drop out of the sky. One has to work it. It is a two- way street.

Few would dispute that it would indeed be a happier, more content, better world if people put more love into the world than exists today.’’
